Please share one or two examples from your past experience that best illustrate(s) how you will contribute to this highly engaging and hands-on learning environment. (500 words)

Hey there—yes, this is a challenging question.

robably they know that they can ask a tough one…since they only ask two short ones total. J But here is what we tell our clients about the best way to answer this sucker. First of all, be sure to list TWO examples, and not just one. And from these examples, you wanna bring out characteristics in your personality which will link DIRECTLY to Darden. So let me give you an example. Lets say that Darden focuses on team exercises. Tell a story about how you were a team MEMBER, not a leader but a devoted team player. Show us how great you were at it, walk us through the steps you took, etc. Then, either at the end of that paragraph or the end of the essay, let us know that you will deliver THIS SPECIFIC skill to Darden. So by the end of the two examples, you will have 2 or 3 skills to talk about, that will actively (specifically) improve the lives of aaaall your smart UVA peers. Make sense? Hope so—and good luck!
