解析上说A 用supplementing fails to support the intended meaning of the sentence.为什么没有表达原文意思？

Participle -ing 放在句子后面用来修饰前面的整个句子，就不能表达原文中想要表达的contrast，我想这个应该是OG中的意思吧。

lz说解析上说A supplementing fails to support the intended meaning of the sentence.没有表达原文的意思，我觉得可能是因为句子的意思重点是表达是易洛魁族人主要以种植为生的，supplement sth with sth是指用…增补，补充。所以我想句子的意思应该是，即使以fishing and hunting补充对maize, squash, and beans的种植，但是易洛魁族人还是主要以种植业为主。而且，but + supplementing 似的后面的句子没有谓语动词，fragment sentence. 希望能帮到你》《

哦哦，多谢多谢指教啊~一般V-Iing在句尾有解释和扩展前面句子的意思，但是这个句子需要contrast，不是扩展。懂了。但是E选项，为什么不能用with呢？求指教~

哦，太感谢了~原来我意思没弄清楚，没有体会到，即使以fishing and hunting补充对maize, squash, and beans的种植，但是易洛魁族人还是主要以种植业为主。……（句子意思太重要了）
还有E中，为什么不能用with？我with的用法不太懂。求指教~

but前面是主系表，但是後面是介賓短語，不平行

with的用法可以從最基本語法的角度理解，介詞-->後面連接的是名詞成份，修飾前面名詞or動作。具體修飾內容需要靠meaning來判斷~

but前面是主系表，但是後面是介賓短語，不平行
