could someone tell me that what's wrong with  (A).....???

i  "feel"the item (A) a little bit strange  but i can't figure  it out.....   

A 里面的 very popular.....是修饰 the renewed interest的 这不符合文章要表达的意思

而B里面的 定语从句就可以很正常地修饰ceiling fans 了

不知道这样理解对不对

再问：如果把B中which were去掉，是不是依然有修饰歧义的问题？
