题意不对。
sickness, sleeping on the job, fatigue among shift workers 都是负面的例子，raised production efficiency 是正面的改变，所以4个不能用and并列。ABD都可以排除。

3个例子的排列是 have reduced sickness, sleeping on the job, and fatigue among shift workers，所以E后面加was lowered不对，因为前面已经有动词修饰了fatigue among shift workers。

1。3个并列的部分，最后2个要用and连接。
2. 平行结构，宾语中名词短语的平行。

没有and
?? (B) fatigue among shift workers, and raised、
没有and
?? (C) and fatigue among shift workers while raising
有and，先放着
?? (D) lowered fatigue among shift workers, and raised
没有and
?? (E) and fatigue among shift workers was lowered while
raising
有and，但宾语的名词短语结构不平行。

用排除法。选C.
