   to blot表示目的，就是说那个物体掀起尘土的目的是去blot。。。

   此外类似于thus sending up的用法如thus 分词结构，在大全里都不作为正确选项出现，推测ETS-SC中并不喜欢这样用，但在OG解释里频繁的使用

   我个人认为原因是：分词做状语表伴随动作或结果，加了thus可能更明了表示结果，但是ETS-SC认为选项正规文体不需要这样用，就如ETS老是用since表示原因，但是答案中就不用一样
