虽然可以感觉出答案, 可我还是不太明白对话中的表达方法, 大家能否解释一下

那个女生希望教授没有注意到她迟到了，那个男生说"i am not sure about that" 其实是比较婉转的表示不同意女生意见的说法，后面半句:" ..... to me"的句型的意思是“我觉得.....”后半句翻译出来就是“我觉得她似乎有些生气了”。不知道有没有解释清楚
