reapplicant的essay该如何写?

NYU要求reapplicant写essay 1(career goal)和essay 4(解释竞争力提高)的两个essay.

我的问题是:
我去年写的career goal是做IB.但是现在发现IB不是最适合我的,我今年的goal有了个比较清晰的方向。如果是这样,如何在今年的essay 1和essay 4中解释自己的新的goal和自己竞争力提高的原因？解释竞争力提高的原因应该从哪几个方面来分析？要不要再增加些素材写自己对该学校的commitment?

Hello there! Yes, there are two great areas in the Stern application to show that your candidacy has improved. You should of course use both! But in essay 1, focus on your career goal—don’t worry about the change. Simply explain what you want to do, how youre going to do it, and why you are passionate about it. Then, in essay four, you can explain the change. “Yes, last year I said I wanted to do IB, but then I did more research, and it isn’t feasible. So now, I have a better plan as you’ve already seen.” Then, you can move on to other topics, like how you have taken on more responsibilities at work, etc.
