请问各位NN,这道题虽然本身难度较低,但在OG解释中说的是the adjective more normally indicates greater quantity 然后说 greater normally indicates degree.
原本是没什么,但我今天看到一个句子 the more we thought of the lost boy,the more did we worried .这里面感觉thought和worried都应该用greater表示degree才对呀,不过这个句子不是来自GMAT,是我在网上搜倒装语法时看到的一个例句,所以到底是这个句子不符合GMAT严谨性呢?还是我没有理解什么是degree什么是quantity呢?
想请教各位如何才能确定用more还是great,谢谢。
