Hi there, If you decide to ask your professor to write you a letter, you should send the letter to a certified translation service and then send a copy of the original and a translated copy to the school. As for recommenders, since you already have one letter from a professor, you don't need more academic letters. Do you have a business partner or co-founder? if so, you can ask a business partner to write you one. Your clients who are happy abour your work/services are good candidates too to ask. It depends on schools and programs, HBS asks for 3 reference letters but most schools only need two recommendation letters. If none of your clients or business partners are not appropriate to provide you a great reference. You should think about anyone that you had extended contact with either in a professional setting or during volunteer activities or in a social club. The key is to pick a recommender who knows you well and can talk about your strengths and weaknesses in a favorable way! Good luck! James Wynne -- by 会员 Jameswynne (2010/11/12 2:09:44)
Thank you very much for your kind reply. Actually, I did asked someone who know me very well to recomand me to the school. However, I was rejected. Although I am not sure it was because of the recomandation letters, people keep telling me that the title of people who recomand is very important.
As to my professor, actually, i guess she hardly can recall who I am after so many years, especaily, she had not really known her students ever.
Anyway, thank you. I thought maybe others option on this might enlighten me, cuz I am really stucked here. |
