拙见是，computers 和modems是并列的。 作者想说，modems are becoming faster, more powerful, and more reliable too，用so指代画线部分。所以be动词不能省略啊 比如甲说，I want an apple.乙说So do I.不能说So I.是不是这个意思？ 所以只能AB选一个了。A的they指代不明，B更准确，就近同位语。
