这个题目虽然也没选being 但是说了里面being不是赘余而是什么夹心修饰。这个夹心修饰什么意思呢？

还有，being都哪些情况下是对的呢？能给出个例子么顺便，谢谢了啊NN们！

对于being我的理解是这样：
题干中的despite being offered $1,000 to do so如果没有being，那么就错。despite 是介词
而对于D开头的being，完全可以删去。所以多余
being很简单：必须要，不必须要
gmat里面不必需要的都是多余

being done 被动语态进行时是正确的，being的例外~
