我觉得这个题蛮难的，竟然没有搜到讨论贴！不明白A中的so是什么意思，请知道的同学赐教，不甚感激！

hope so/think so/say so etc
E.g. If you want to go home, just say so.
be more so/less so/too much so
The band is popular and likely to become more so.Jerry is very honest, perhaps too much so.
你就把more so 当成more 就行了.

比较，相同比较对象对比，第二个名词由相应的代词指代，要注意单复数形式。

逻辑表达-维持原句意思，比较结构中的代词指代对象要注意是否符合逻辑意思，并且是否表达了原

句所要表达的意思。

平行-定语从句，在比较句子中比较对象的修饰成分最好用相同的表达方式，以使句子更加平行对称。

(A)
缺少指代women的代词，致使more than的比较对象不对等，satisfaction与when retiring对比。

(B) they指代前面的women，表达意思错误，因为if they were to retire表达了同一群妇女不同情况下

的satisfaction对比，改变了原句意思，原句要表达的是不同妇女不同情况下的satisfaction对比；more

than前后不平行。

(C) 正确，those指代women，who took和who retired平行。

(D) which与so都指代satisfaction，重复；

(E) they指代前面的women，表达意思错误，与A选项相同；没有特殊的时间标志说明需要用过去完

成时had retired。
