答案是B。

题主干不是很懂，0.8 of 1 percent 是什么意思，答案最后为什么没有that of ?

首先EXPECTATIONS 后面加THAT
然后这个是一个EXPECTATION. 可能还没发生就用WOULD.
你的问题说为什么没有THAT OF. 但是THAT 这里指代什么呢???是一个问题

先谢谢了，我的意思是不怎么明白rose 0.8 of 1 percent 的意思，答案对D选项的解释为“Although this option is not technically wrong, it is less clear and graceful than B”.这样一来D选项中的that of就没错了。。。

0.8 of 1 percent =1% 的0.8=1%乘以0.8 ..是比例..

所以～0.8 of 1 percent 与the 1.4 percent平行，而不是与taht of the 1.4 percent 平行．

不知道这道题是不是新体？我觉得0.8 or 1 percent 或者0.8 to 1 percent更自然一点。后面的1.4 percent就没有用1.4 of 1 percent嘛
