我的问题是: why not B? B中，providing...逻辑上可以理解成sitting的目的吧？而且for doing应该也是正确的表达。请指教

应该是农场提供了条件

farm that sits below the surface of the ocean and provides
中间provide之前省略了that

谢谢！貌似两种理解都可以：1.农场提供了条件（同楼上） 2. 位于海洋表面以下，目的是为mollusks'
growth提供条件

不过本着尊重原文的宗旨，还是前者理解比较好。

B中V+ING在句末更倾向做伴随状语，逻辑主语为the farm，不符合逻辑

如果这样说，那that也是作定语修饰farm的，跟setting岂不是一样？？？？怎么解释？？？？
