选A ， their geiometrical symmetries后面是独立主格。但是我不大理解这句话的逻辑关系，到底独立主格修饰什么？

按照句子来看whose应该指代art, their应该知道dwellings(因为没其他复数名次了），我觉得这个句子不好。and 前后不对称，前面是分次embellished ，后面是介词短语。。。。

如果指art的话，是不是用which 好点/还有后面their照句意应该指art，但是 art是单数，难道指whose murals 。然后整个whose murals are brilliantly colored, their geometrical symmetries embellished with old and new iconography and in a style that varies from woman to woman and house to house.是一句从句吗？

"whose" refers to the word "murals", which means "a large picture on the wall".
