答案是D,可是为什么E不行啊？我觉得E先说出了结论，开门见山，挺不错呀？

这个题目以前讨论过，好象是说because 先出现和后出现有些不同。
你可以搜索一下。

是否是因为E中的they会被误认为habits的可能性，而D中的they比较不会有此误解？

谢谢两位答复。我又想到了一种可能：是不是因为E没有逗号把从句与主句分开呀？

OG的第12题的D，E选项有些类似，但解题说明里并没说because在前在后的区别。

这题我也很困惑
我想ETS出题可能从简洁方面考虑，一句话可以说完就不必分两句说
另外好像THEY不会引起歧义！

not... because的意思和because...not不一样，前者是不是因为。。。，后者是因为所以不。

选了个E，犹豫半天，觉得DE一样，怀疑都错了，但又没有更加选择。结果。。。应该是they指代不明。

6楼说的最有道理，我听了老鱼的讲座。在GMAT语法里面永远是先原因后结果的优于先结果后原因的表达方式，因为这样更清晰，更没有歧义。
