我觉得D也可以说得通啊。。。pharmaceuticals也可以给人们带来employment？

还是说forests不能supply sources of material只能as sources of material？

意思是森林不仅提供有价值的药材也提供就业，supply和provide平行，D用for doing表目的不够有效，况且似乎改变了句意。本题关键在于那个平行。

forests supply P and S of B, for providing.
是不是 P and s of B 会有歧义。
，for doing? 做什么结构呢。
