曼哈顿语法部分就parallelism部分给了两个例句
1，They contended that the committee was biased but that it should not be disbanded.
2，New date indicate that, over the course of the past week, the stock market jumped and the unemployment rate decreased.

为什么第一个要加that，第二个不需要呢？

是因为中间插入语隔开了句子，所以后半部分保持平行吗？
文中又给了一个例句：i think that children learn responsibility by taking care of pets and cats make the best pets.

而文中又有一句话：The root phrase can be completed using just the X or the Y element(and dropping the parallelism marker)
