Hi zhaozouzou, don't be bothered by my comments about my alma mater. I don't want to play her down, it is just that I saw too many negative sides about her. It is probably my personal problem.
I got admitted in by Rotman this year but not going to take the offer. Think about CAD94,000 + tuition fees and 20 months living costs in Toronto, it is not worth it. For those who want to go to IB and consulting, Canada is not a great place to go. US does have more opportunities but the costs are even higher. I chose Canada just for the sake of immigration. If that is the same reason for you, then be open minded to other B schools in Canada as they are academically not any worse than Rotman (e.g.Ivey,Schulich and Sauder). For Canadian, these are all great schools and it is not about the school but you yourself that will determine if you can land a good job after graduation.

I'm still waiting for my offers from other two Canadian B-schools...I have one month to accept the offer from Rotman but it is very likely I will turn it down.

Good reasoning about costs and benefits. Ivey would be a good place to go if you get an offer. Wish the best for you!
Hey thank you! But I did not apply for Ivey this year...They have this weird admission circule and the school opens in April. I can not afford to start at early. But I did attend their mock class in Shanghai and I really enjoyed the case based teaching method. It pushed you to the very core of your own abilities. I figured it would be even more demanding when you are surrounded with native speakers. I think Ivey is a great school and the professors are all very nice. But one year program is not such a good idea for Chinese students.
