答案是B，

我选的是A－当时选错原因，就是太终于原文了，原文的谓语是are hoping，但其他选项都已经改变了谓语，所以就选了。其实做的时候也知道in their attempt 不如 are attempting好。

但是碰到这类题就是不知道到底该倾向于哪一点，是原文主句成分不要变哪，还是某个词用的更合适哪？

至于这类迷惑，也就说孰轻孰重这个度该怎么把握，还请NN们指教！谢谢！

插入语是可以去掉不看的...所以去掉插入余如果意思变得模糊了就错...

逻辑意思为主吧,多读几次这个句子就能够发现插入语成分不应该做插入语...

愚见...

A明显的错误在attempt at doing 吧， attempt to do 多好啊

奥，这样,有道理，忠于原文的意思，不一定就是说谓语一定要是原文的谓语。

还是不是很明白，因为XDF老师说如果sectence correction,如果原句子A没有大问题，就不用改，搞得A比别的重要似的。。被她绕进去了，个位NN请帮忙一下～～

忠于A的逻辑重心是建立在A的逻辑合理和语法正确的基础上的如果理解了原句的意思会发现这里A的重心不符合正常逻辑
