但是新东方的解释是：
答案：此题出题有误，A的and前面that是单数，后面的that是复数。B的that指代birds应该用复数。C的that后面，and前面的谓语是include复数，后面的谓语是is单数，也不对称。D和E导致整句话没有谓语。

求解答。

我说一下我的解题思路吧。前面的A South American bird that forages for winged termites and other small insects while swinging upside down form the foliage of tall trees指的就是the graveteiro，是同位语的关系，后面需要出现谓语，不能用定语从句了，排除4、5.由于bird是单数，所以用belongs，没有错误。关键在于后半句，如果要选出答案的话，考虑and前后的平行关系，include和are对应，includes和is对应，符合条件的只有B.
我认为，a group of接可数名词，在大多数情况下用复数谓语；当谓语是单数的时候，强调的是“一群”。这道题的B选项只能理解为a group of强调“一群”，因此谓语用单数。
