Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Letting a friend make a mistake is better than saying or doing something that may destroy the friendship. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

I can hardly agree with the statement that letting a friend make mistakes is better than doing something that may destroy friendship. In support of my opinion of view, it is necessary to give the correct definition of true “friendship”.

As the well-known saying goes, “a friend indeed is a friend in need”. Those who pretend not to see their friends’ errors should not be considered as real friends. For example, if I notice that one of my friends are intending to do something that may break the law, I will try my best to stop it without any hesitation. Though this interference will annoy my friend, it is better than seeing my friend being punished by the law enventually.

A true friend should never be angry with you when you point out what your problem is sincerely. Since anyone is likely to make mistakes, I’d never feel annoyed with my friend when they help me to realize my fault. On the contrary, I will appreciate friends’ kindness to assist me and give me so many suggestions to help me out of trouble. I can know about my misakes comprehensively. Not only can't Friends’ advices deem as underming the friendship, they even should be seem as strengthening the bonds of friendship.

However, we should find proper way to let our friends know that why they are wrong and how they are going to do to correct faults, rather than simply point out the mistakes rudely. If we don’t use any communication techniques, this will definitely detroy the friendship. Through expressing our opinion in euphemistic way, our friends will aware their faults and correct them right away. In the mean time, our good-fellowship will be lifted up into a new height.

To sum up, we should point out friends’mistakes and help them to correct errors instead of pretend not to see them. During this process, the key lies in good expression pattern which can prevent us from embarassment and annoying. By frankly to each other, our friendship will be more robust.

I partially agree the statement that with the help of modern technology, students cn learn more efficiently for the reasons listed as following.
First of all, search engines such as Google or Baidu have greatly increased students' learning efficiency by providing access to information. If students rely on the traditional way to index information they need, they probably should spend several weeks burying themselves in the library. But now, the only thing we should do is only type several words on the button and click on the mouse "ok" in google, then numerous related information and research papers are listed on the screen. Not only can we find out the detailed information in Wiki Encyclopedia, but also can obtaining deeper and more advanced articles by experts around the world. This is also the main reason that I gradually became an addict in Internet now.
What is more, advanced technology such as digital recording and various computer aided software also help students learn science or foreign language with greatest efficency. For instance, the Microsoft Encarta software provides the platform on which students can learn about the most detailed information and interest multimedia education movies. Microsoft students also provide aided software in mathematics to help students make graphs and solve problems more quickly and directly. These technology improves students' interest in learning to the extreme. Whenever they have any question, they can obtain the various satisfied answer through internet.
Students even consult all kinds of problems to emote teachers in foreign countries through online course.
Nevertheless, modern technology does not necessarily flawless. Technology can not guarantee that all the students can improve their study efficiency through machine. Machines can not think for us as the teachers, and too much dependence on technology will keep us from contempt questions in depth.
From above discussion, we may draw the conclusion that technology indeed bring us the convenience in learning method. What we need to learn is how to apply this tools more effectively and let technology service us in great and let technology service us more adequately.

In the lecture, the professor casts doubt on the view that Anasazi, a prehistory tribe from Chaco Canyon, disappeared because of a severe drought.
First of all, although there was a rise temperature and ensuing droughts throughout the world, the global warming did not severe enough to affect the settlement of Anasazi. Evidence is that the trees are still survive after the drought.
Secondly, the existence of irrigation system does not necessarily mean that this place was damaged by drought totally. On the contrary, they indicate the evidence that Anasazi have the ability to cope with drought such as store water and crops.
Finally, the drought is not severe enough to led to the vanish of Anasazi. Maybe some alternative explanations include disease, overuse of farmland and tribe conflict should be responsible for the disappearance of Anasazi.
So the contents in the reading passage are totally jeopardized by the speaker and the professor has totally different ideas on the topics made in the reading passage.

The modern life is more and more complex, it is essential for young people to have the ability to plan and organize. I am totally agree with the above statement for the following reasons.
First of all, the complexity of the problems we faced do not allow us to do things ramdonly and disorganized. For instance, when I preopared for the IBT test, I was rather upset and almost lost my heart when I faced the obstacle for the first time since I had never had a chance to talk in English for quite a long time. I could barly open my mouth, let alone, how to cover the whole test within the time limitation. I was rather upset before my friend Nana helped me to make a well-organized plan to divide my goal into several little parts, which are attractive and attainable. After the scientific organization, I thought it was not that hard and I gradually had a faith in conquering this. Day by day, the more I practiced, the more confidence I gained.
What’s more, a scientific plan can reduce the risk and save the money when young people doing their jobs. Before we sell service or products, we should develop a systematic approach. If we don’t come up with a system, a plan, we risk in making decisions that waste money, or even drive away potential customers. A well organized plan should involve market, media, money, message. We can do research to determine which media will reach the most potential customers for the lowest cost. For instance, if you have a product to sell teachers. So you ask yourself: what magazines do the majority of teachers read? What TV programs do teachers watch? Do teachers listen to much radio? After a careful research you learn that the majority of teachers read the magazine about classroom activities, while only a minority of them interested in other magazines. Since you reach the majority of the customers in your target group, you are probably spending your money well and, in the mean time. Bring us to great profit.
Based on the above discussion, we can easily draw the conclusion that it is necessary for young people to nurture the obility to make a well-organized plan and make scientific budget to spend money wisely in such a complex society, which will enable us to lead a more efficient life.
