读题的时候就知道要有by的出现，表示用某种方法达到某种效果。当看选项的时候马上就排除了A B, B的话更明显，因为instead使意思反了。

C是正确答案，做题的时候不肯定，因为后面一句 when...fee, 应当是作非限制性定语从句来解释前面的 night or weekend. 但是又么有看过有用when开头的非限。

OG的解释都是从by入手。

是不是应该把这句看做时间状语呢？如果是，具体是怎样？是不是应该没有逗号隔开呢？求解答！

显然是状语从句吧.....

而且我表示我看到那个by就直接选了

我也是看到by就知道了，但是就是疑惑when在这里的用法。有逗号隔开也可以看做是状语从句么？
