关于逻辑主语的问题~~~~在线等！！！

今天再次做OG的时候，一道题让我产生了下面的疑问：

Visitors to the park have often looked up into the leafy canopy and saw monkeys sleeping on the branches, whose arms and legs hang like socks on a clothesline.

正确选项是D：seen monkeys sleeping on the branches, with arms and legs hanging

答案是没错，可是看了看选项，突然想到：with及后面的成分应该是  介词短语充当状语。其逻辑主语应该是句子主语。问题就出来了，这里主句的主语是visitors啊，这样的话就错了；所以这的逻辑主语肯定是  seen后面宾语成分的主语，即monkeys。 

所以想请问，逻辑主语到底应该是主句的主语，还是靠近的那个从句的主语呢？？？？

当然希望对逻辑主语有较深认识的、归纳较好的大牛们不吝赐教！！！！！！

逻辑主语是位于句首的doing/done 的动作发出者或是接受者。。=句子主语.

with 引导独立主格，作状语，表示伴随、方式、原因、结果等各种复杂的情况

这个是 with ＋名词（代词）＋形容词

名词代词是其主。。。
