答案是D，有疑问是谓语shatters and falls所对应的主语应该是“20 percent of ...." 还是”leaf and material"？后面的同位语结构也是用了“the most nutritious parts..."。

我觉得主语是“20 percent of the leaf and small-stem material”，同位语“the most nutritious parts of the plant”，是指“leaf and small-stem material”。

可是在LZM的语法改错里面，percent of plural noun 谓语用复数。请大大们指教。

LZM page 22 最上面说：

half(rest, plenty, part, fifty percent, etc.) of + 主语，如主语是可数名词，谓语用复数。

要是LZM错了，是不是其它的也应该用单数呢？比如half和part。
