同样是二级错误，是优先选择由于有平行关系，指代优先选择前一句主语，还是选择主动由于被动。

a consumer.
D Correct. This sentence uses the idiom correctly: think of household
products as.
E The passive-voice construction is awkward and wordy.

我感觉这里不会是就近指代（意思指代），应该平行指代优于就近,我觉得如果说这里them指代substances的话，那也是逻辑指代，但是一般逻辑指代都是从句的主语或者平行的部分啊，真心不懂.但这个内容我感觉我已经要疯了。

一开始我也做错了，因为customers、products和them的出现，我根据平行指代直接排除了ABCD。
但实际上正确答案D 是用的a customer 和products，所以这里的them的指代不存在歧义。
