再向大家请教一下GWD-11-10这道题，已经讨论的结果好像没和我想得一样的

这道题我第一眼看到的结构是这样子的：。。。，a tool for private conversation一个分号。。。。，a tool for communicating with a large, public audience.

就是觉得这两个分句的结构非常平行，感觉特别爽，虽然我也知道A选项的前半部分怪怪的，而且我也知道应该用conceive of ...as这个习语，但是B C D E都破坏了这个...a tool for .....;...a tool for...这个结构啊，虽然D E 也有a tool for...但是这个短语后面又加了些词，是不是我太钻牛角尖了呀？望大家指点，谢谢：）

你都说有分号了，那分号两边应该是两个独立的句子，为什么还要追求平行呢？是吧

A，B错的原因是，a tool 修饰不清：是radio还是telephone?

C,D错的原因是：conceive of ...to be

*做语法时不能只看结构，还要看逻辑，意思。

conceive of 通常表示想像，不过语境有所不同，通常指想像某种情况
如：

A 不是就变成了conception 是作为电话的替代工具..逻辑有错误
