D中their有指代不清的问题。GMAT中有很多这样的题，必须把指代的东西说清楚，防止歧义。

potential: n.something that can develop or become actual

a potential for violence

所以我认为For是固定搭配.

D犯的是正确性错误，E用的for relieving只是有效性错误，相比之下E更优
