OG 3.1-6 Every 和households放一起会不会有歧义?

A marketing firm determined that, of 200 households surveyed, 80 used neither Brand A nor Brand B soap, 60 used only Brand A soap, and for every households that used both brands of soap, 3 used only Brand B soap. How many of the 200 households surveyed used both brands of soap?

the correct answer is 15

OG的解释是说 只使用Brand B 的人数 是 既使用使用Brand A 又使用Brand B的人数的 3 倍, 即 if x is the number of households that use both Brand A and B, then 3x use Brand B alone.

我觉得应该是文中  "for every households that used both brands of soap, 3 used only Brand B soap" 这句话表明了倍数关系, 但是我看解释之前,对这句话的理解是 所有既用A又用B的households, 有3个人只使用Brand B, 我不知道为什么这句话表达了倍数关系呢?

是数学的题目, 但这道题做错的关键问题出在对于句子语法的理解上, 不知道every households 为什么能表示每一个家庭,而不是所有家庭. 如果是 every household 我就知道那是表示每一个家庭，　而这里用 every households，我就会理解为所有家庭．　这里，every 和 households 放一起是不是有歧义啊？　

"for every households"中 为什么households要用复数形式呢? every 和households放在一起会不会有歧义啊? 我当初就是看到了households,以为是表示所有既用A又用B的家庭,而不是每一个家庭.  这里是不是用every household会更清楚一点啊?
