看了RON的解释觉得有疑问的一道题 in excess of

700~800里面的题目
主要纠结A B选项
有两点不同
一、may actually 是可以共同使用的。actually是实际上。可以和may连用。B去掉改变原句意思。
二、in excess of 前面的东西不同
A是an intake of VE 维他命E的摄入量,B是taking 动词，摄入VE
RON说
（1）In excess of 前面需要是一个【量】，所以选A
但是我看了这个词的用法，可以后置修饰名词啊。
Luggage in excess of 20kg is taxed
那么为什么B不能是吸收【超过食谱里面的VE】导致如何如何呢？
即 taking vitamin E （in excess of that found naturally in a balanced diet） actually increases.....
（2）taking vitamin E in excess of that 里面的that没有指代
不能理解为什么不能指代VE？？？

而且700~800的解析也没有说道二这个错误点。只说B错在一上。
所以RON说的这个“比较”是不是并不是一个split呢？

个人理解
A 选项里的 an intake in excess of that ... that 指代的是intake 什么样的intake 呢 found naturally in a balanced diet

所以是拿 an intake 和 intake found naturally in a balanced diet比较。。很明晰

B taking vitamin E in excess of that。。。that指代了VE
成了VE in excess of VE ... 只能是数量比较，这里比较错误
如果换成类似intaking an amount of VE in excess of that .... that就指代了 amount found naturally in ...
比较对象就清楚了

而且 take改变语意 take 只是简单服用，而intake是吸收

好像有点懂了。谢谢。
不过A的that 曼哈顿staff说是VE，不是intake。 intake可以found in a diet吗？是不是只有VE能够found in a diet?

这里只是省略 ..事实上不应该省略嘎嘎 intake of VA 核心词绝对是intake .. of va只是修饰词，的确found.... 是修饰 VA的

intake of VA 和 intake of VA比较
