答案是E，我选的是B

请问:E中的这个their有没有歧义呢？就近指代的话，应该指代researchers.

解释说B的researchers have determined导致了后面making的修饰歧义.

我不明白这部分不是做插入语吗？那怎么会导致歧义呢？

E "their"满明显，不算歧义。

B 中 researchers have determined  其实没有问题。  

 B中 的“making them many times more rare than" 也没有歧义，但是他没有修饰的对象。所以错了。

原来是没有修饰对象哈~

分词不论做伴随状语/前句结果，都是伴随谓语动作。

而系表是一个状态，不会有同时间发生的伴随动作。

结论：伴随状语不能修饰系表结构。

我就没有选择E选项。

E "their" 从语法上看，指代前面的researchers ，但是从逻辑上看应该指代100 Arabian leopards

所以E选项应该是歧义啊。

哪位大牛指导 一下。
