答案选C，从前半部分看，because ＋从句比 due to 和because of 好，但是后面的predicted 和 for weeks 这种大段时间是不是不匹配啊？还有C中的 continues 是一般现在时，后面的predicted 用过去式，一个句子中的过去时和现在时不能混用的吧？求教！！

逻辑意思，虽然for weeks 有时间持续的意思，但是predict不是一个延续性的动词，你可以说一直工作15年，但不能说一直在预测。
