问两道comparison的题目~~~

in the 1980‘s the rate of increase of the minority population of the USA was nearly twice as fast as the 1970’s。
a。 twice as fast as
b。 twice as fast as it was in
c。 twice what it was in
d。 twice times faster than that of
e。 two times greater than

答案选c 我选b 没明白为什么b错c对

in 1990‘s， there are more babies born by women over thirty years old than under it。
a。 than under it
e。 than those were under it

我选e，答案是a。为什么这道题可以省略这么多？比较对象不应该是babies born by women over thirty years old 和babies born by women under thirty years old 么？

关于comparison的题目lz表示总是找不清楚比较对象，做了大全所有的comparison的题目，么有解释，愈发的糊涂，有木有大神把comparison的规则summary一下，多谢多谢，lz大后天上考场啦！！ sc有点慌 T T

答案选e，这道题的比较对象是怎么并列的啊？我觉得e 选项更好一些呢。。

第一个我也选的B。。。。
第二题我感觉those 指代不清晰，即使对，those were under it 是个从句，和前面的 babies born by women over thirty 没办法对应，按照你说的应该是babies born by women under thirty 这个短语。

第一题我后来懂啦比较对象是the rate of .... 不是the increase of... 所以不能是as fast as r

对，从句只是说比之前比率少了一半没强调快慢
