考点：比较、句子结构

      比较-compare/contrast的用法，(as) compared to/with（GMAT没有区分to和with的区别），省略了主语和系动词，即A be compared with/to B，与in contrast to都是惯用法，前后比较对象一定要对等。常见的错误用法有：将compare用作主动(when compare…; comparing…)，比较对象不对等

上面是prepSC语法笔记中给的解释，不过我记得在白勇语法大全上看到，be compared with和 be compared to意思不同啊，为什么这里说GMAT不分to和with的区别？

然后今天看到下面这题：

句子结构：A recent… report shows that there are more than three times as many… as there are … 比较结构。

考点：比较、平行对称

1、             比较，比较的习惯用法A as… as… or adj.er than B，常见的错误用法有A as… or adj.er than B（少as）; as…as compared to; as… than compared to; as… than等。

2、             平行对称，比较结构中的对比对象尽量要形式对称。

(A) as compared to搭配错误且as…as与compared to结构重复。

(B) 正确，as… as…连接不同的household对比，where引导定语从句修饰households与前面保持对称。

(C) whose grandparents和前面的where…不对称，household作家庭讲用where指代，而不是whose。。

(D) as… than搭配错误，且as…as与compared to结构重复。

(E) as… than搭配错误；whose grandparents和前面的where…不对称。

132题as compared to就是正确答案，这里又说as compared to是错的？不懂了。。。
