Nowadays, there are numerous debates about the issue whether or not university students are supposed to attend classes. Some people hold the opinion that s should be responsible to go to classes. Others, however, contradict it. From my point of view, attending classes is more beneficial to us because of the following reasons.

First of all, the important reason in support of my view is that attending classes provides more opportunities for university students to get better understanding of knowledge. Through the lecture of the professor, students can absorb more knowledge than studying by oneself. Students can ask what they do not understand or some other specific questions. Compared gaining knowledge on my own,  it is no wonder that learning knowledge in public is much more efficient Thus, attending classes is of significance for university students.

In the second place, another chief reason for my view is that we can develop our social skills through communications with others. At class, we will discuss problems and solve problems with our partners. Due to team work, we have to communicate with others. Also, as the conflict appears, we need to find a proper method to solve it. During this process, we may get more social skills than we work on it individually.

Last but not least, the reason why I prefer going to class is that we can learn more beyond the knowledge from the professor. For example, the professor's personal qualities will worthy for us following. Both his scientific spirit and his internship with students are what we can not gain from the textbook when we study by ourselves. From this point it is a better choice to attend to class.

To conclude, we can get better understanding, develop social skills and learn personal qualities from professors. Therefore, we may reach the conclusion that university students should be encouraged to attend classes.
