这是一个错误选项，请问除了明显错误以外，grasping前的of 可以省略吗？

先不考虑ablity的错误。

D,第二个of我觉得放着会比较好。

1、两个修饰语隔开太远补上 of更清晰。

2、两外补不补of在我看来有可能是两个结构。

补出of 是省略结构，have the ability of recognizing themselves in mirrors and (the ablity) of spontaneously grasping

                    两种不同能力

不补of 是普通修饰结构，have the ability of recognizing....and
    spontaneously grasping 把两种能力看成一种了。

另外，一种比较主流的观点认为是D consider as使用也是错的。
