de中如果those变为that 可以吗？为什么不可以改为ing形式？

1. those问题

ls的说法我不认同，those不能指代civilizations（复数），前文出现的是civilization（单数）
改成了that（单数）也不能指代，因为句意需要复数代词指代civilizations in A and B。

所以只能重复说一遍civilizations 没办法用代词指代了。

2.ing形式
说的是flourishing 的ing 吗？我觉得可以用。

没有看到楼上的than在哪里……

我覺得把those改為that只是修改了部份錯誤，those後面的helping verbs也錯了。
根據manhattan所說，pronoun要與antecedent的number相同，否則就要補充antecedent。例如這裡如果後面的是civilizations（plural），應該用those civilizations。

（D）看完整比較的內容：
an civilization flourishing at the same time as those did in the Nile Delta...
did不存在可能指代的verb（flourishing不對，如果是A項的flourished可以）
（E）were前面也是沒有指代，句子中沒有出現過除了were以外的be動詞。

補充those：
看到ls說文明不僅是一個，恍然忽略了句子後面的內容...這樣更加不能把those改為that了。因為後面意思上說civilization>1個，plural。
不能用that啦，只能直接把它改成those civilizations了

关于这里的those为什么不能指代前面的civilization（manhattan是有详细解释的）：

A little oddly,the GMAT insists that any "new copy" that or those agree in number with the previous version. If you must change number，repeat the noun.

Wrong:Her company is outperforming THOSE OF her competitors.
Right:Her company is outperforming THE COMPANIES OF her competitors.

关于这里的that flourished能不能替换成flourishing？

变成flourishing的话要从从 threaten这里获取时态，当要强调verb tense的时候 that-clause是不能换成ving的（来自manhattan的语法点）
