People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge).Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer

A lot of people dream about going to universities or colleges during their childhood. Why is this? Of course, a long list of reasons could be enumerated such as influence by parents, admiration for somecelebrity graduating from a certain university or college and so on. Difficult as it is to put down all the possible reasons, some of the most important ones could be extracted.

  An essential reason to choose a university or college should be knowledge. A high standard school symbolizes erudition better than anywhere else in the world. Millions of talents scatter in all kinds of universities and colleges representing the latest knowledge to human kind as well as the best minds on our planet. Besides human resources, the universities and colleges offer an ocean of reasources ,including libraries, databases,etc,related to scientific reseaches and essays which can hardly be accessed from elsewhere. Going to a university or college undoutedly enhances a person to master a great amount of knowledge.

  The second crusial reason to go to universities or colleges would be getting a better job in the future. Although many people simply go to universities of colleges to satisfy their craving for academic reasearching, many people do so in order to store the knowledge for furture use on their career. The most obvious evidence is the popularity of law and business schools among students. Does this occurence emerge because most student "happen" to share the interest in these fields? Evidently, they made such choices in order to get more desirable jobs. University and college offers great opportunities to live a better life.

  Another subtle reason here is joining an upper league. Many rich people nowadays sacrifice a lot of money and time to send their children to world-class universities. The most important reason here is decorate the child with a higher social status and a better reputation for the family because almost every one gives more respect to a graduate from Yale than a normal person subconsciously.

  In conclusion, people may go to universities for various reasons. some important ones include receiving knowledge, preparing for a job, improving social status. With the elapsing of time more people are paying attention to education which leads to an increasing enrollment, therefore the prosperity of universities and colleges. After all,it is widely believed universities and colleges is well conneted to the standard.of people's educational standard.
