E 为什么不对？字典上recoup/recoup for都有赔偿，补偿之意。

对不起，刚看到以前的解释：

recoup的用法, 一般是recoup sb/oneself for sth也可以是recoup sth

至于recoup，它在接宾语的时候应该是不跟FOR的，直接跟宾语。
请注意解释中make up后面的 for。
recoup:
(a : to get an equivalent for (as losses) : make up for b : REIMBURSE, COMPENSATE "recoup a person for losses" "recoup a loss"
