already terrified passenger think the car was on fire.

B.     Inflated, so that it could make.

C.     Inflated and made.

D.     Inflated and make.

E.      Inflated to make.

      我这套里给的答案是D，真是想不明白这个怎么会是正确的，那里的make是为何呢？难道是would make省略了would? 

      偶选的是C.个人觉得made更好些，和would do平行。还请NNs指点啊！

C made和eliminated并列, 则made逻辑主语为a safer air bag ,那么a safer air bag 
                                made
                                already terrified passenger think the car was on fire.在全句中表达含义不合逻辑.应该是a burst of smoke would make already terrified passenger think the car was on fire. (make与appear并列)

哦，漏看了之前的eliminated, sigh~仔细再仔细！

在此再贴出一题：

答案是C, 这题没什么争议。但是英语语法里还有之前老师提到过宾语从句的that一定不能省略，在此就是个例外。
