答案是选出来了，可是一看解释就迷糊了，如果B项while的主语是主句的主语，那么应该是Meteor showers（流星雨） and individual streaks，这好像逻辑意思不对阿，现象怎么能seeping through 呢？多谢nn赐教。

这里的主句的主语应该是指when从句吧，这么说，你看对不对：

 对于while，主句应该是tiny flecks of celestial detritus
            burn up

对阿，我也是这么认为了，可是解释是说主句的主语，本句的结果是

M and S generated when flecks burn up while speeding.

所以，主句的主语当然是M and S，

根据LS的解释，那么A为什么错呢？我绝的while seeding 和speeding都是一个意思，我排除A，就是因为B看起来更舒服一些，加强了当...时候的概念。

“A: grains 应该和 pebbles平行，而不是从属关系；speeding 应该修饰flecks ”

上面你的文字中的后半句：speeding 应该修饰flecks

不就是说明了，对于speeding这个动作而言，主语应该是flecks。

若不加上while，则属于SC的混乱修饰问题，即到底speeding修饰的是burn up还是flecks？

你也说了B看起来舒服一些，这可能就是这么多年来读英语的习惯，让你觉得这句话舒服，看起来顺眼阿，

PS：刚开始接触GMAT，这是我复习的第四天，SC我感觉需要把握的除了句子的意思，还有句子的逻辑。而且这个有时还挺重要的。

另，个人小建议，读SC句子时可能有时候并不需要把不太熟悉的单词全都查出来，这样很浪费时间呢，而且逻辑的把握也使很重要的哦。

CD上有很多牛人总结的SC的经验，个人受益匪浅，：）

这句话是以前以为NN的解释啦，不是俺的，俺就是对speeding应该修饰flecks看不懂。

flecks burn up speeding through.这个结构，不就是表示了speeding修饰burn up吗？那里有错？

难道它还有修饰burn up的歧义? 分词作状语可以修饰主语和整个句子的逻辑意思，也可修饰紧挨着个名词，但我不知道还可以修饰burnup.那么加了个while之后就没有歧义了吗？

分词 和 while +分词的修饰对象到底有什么差别上。NN说是
  while+分词的省略，主语是主句主语，可是这句话的主句就是M and S,这样又不对，明明speeding应该修饰的是flecks.

绕来绕去，我都给绕糊涂了。

我觉得sand应该和pebble并列才对啊

sand是沙子，pebble是小石头！
