than后面的“in the population"显得很奇怪，难道是相当于than (depression) in the population?

如果是这样，恐怕也省略得太那个啥了吧。。。。太牵强了！

不解不解！！！

前三项rates are prevalent.不对，rate应该跟greater搭配。 umm...确切的讲这不是单纯depression的比较，而是两个不同群体的depression比较，这个是相同部分的省略，所以是可以的。
