我看过以前的贴子，可是还不太明白！C中的can 和 would have found不矛盾吗？这个would have found是虚拟，还是完成时？谢谢！

even if(即使;假如)后接从句表示让步,相当于even though。
find sth adj
would have done与would do如果放在虚拟语态中，则一个用于对过去虚拟
主句中，一个用与对现在与将来虚拟的主句中。WOULD HAVE FOUND清楚
表达了：如果AFFORD HOUSHOLD APPLICATIONS 发生在their grandparents那时
那爷爷奶奶们会有的反应。而WOULD FIND的时态与这个意思时间性不合

还应该有时态上的区别， can 在这里应该是‘能够’ 的意思， could为过去时态，与remains 不一致。

even if 条件句， although 改变了条件的含义。
