As a LBS alumni, I think the answer really depends. The students do have a diverse professional backgrounds. Your profile seems OK. International experience is valued as 89% of students come out of UK. Engineering is the largest group accounting for 27% of the students. The pattern is similar for Chinese. About 5-6 students come from the Mainland each year. While LBS is strong in finance, many students take jobs from blue-chip industry companies. Last year, for example, nearly 50% graduates entered financial services, followed by 30% into global industry, like BP and BT. In a year like this, I would expect more people will end up with non-finance sectors. |
