答案是B, 我选A. 不明白这两个有什么不同点。什么时候用whereas，什么时候用just呢？

答案是D，我选B。不懂怎么判断是选D。我还以为B最保持原句的意思和结构。

48: just as 对应后面的 so , 由于前面的原因导至后面的结果, whereas 更倾向于在对比的使用中用这个词, 表达然而.

47: 用了虽然语句含义更清楚, it 指代1998, you choose b, wrong 因为代词优先指代主句主语, 就是1998, 而不是ventures

其实48题表达就是：像A不能做...一样，B也不能做...
这个很简单的，当as表示“像”的意思时，as是连词，后面跟一个完整的句子: 像s不能决定t一样，s也不能决定o. 应该是个顺承关系，但如果你用whereas，表达的就是but的意思了，whereas you love beautiful girl, I like a cat. 虽然你喜欢美女，但是我喜欢小猫

47，从句意看，如果用whereas，那后面不应该用so they，而直接用they才行。“鉴于scientist不能通过这某个东西决定个什么玩意，他们也不能通过某个东西去决定个什么东西”。这前后都是同一主语，不需要so。
而如果使用just as，“正如scientist不能通过某东西决定个什么玩意，所以他们也不能通过某个东西去决定个什么东西”

47. both X and Y要求絶對性的平行, 所以B錯.

那么此题中so they...中的they指代什么？前面好像没有出现过被指代的对象，可以这样用吗？
