Parents are the best teachers
Generally speaking, education plays an important role in almost everybody’s life. Some people may bear in mind that if people don’t receive education, then he cannot be regarded as a man of contemporary society, which comprises enormous amount of well educated citizens. As a result, teacher gain its position as the most influential character in early lives of countless youngsters. And what I strongly hold is that our parents are the best teachers. I will examine below the specific reasons for this statement.
One of the main reasons that could be mostly neglected is that we all carry genes from our parents so that due to the inherently biological connection, communication may be easier between children and parents than that of serious relationship among teachers and students. It is these affinities from many aspects, such as appearance, temperament and habits, that band the whole family. In this way, parents teach like a friend in a harmonious environment, which the children know will not be a threat to them, hence they learn super well.
As well as the genetic bond, the intimacy of the family also weights a lot. It is proposed by the Confucius that a teacher should teach in the way that best suits every student’s traits and characters. That is, teachers ought to focus on the true needs of the young. However, there are a large amount of students to see to, which means not every child can be treated with the best method. In contrast with this situation, parents’ instruction totally meets the children’s need owing to the closeness of family--- every single day they eat together, play together, talk together and share together. Hardly do parents – even the most common ones—ignore needs of their sweethearts. If there is any couple doing this, it must be the lousiest parents in this world.
Another reason that has to and should be mentioned is the greatest of human kind – love. It is parents that are most tolerant about mistakes their kids make and then teach them what the right thing to do is. Only under the care of love and the responsibility that comes out of it can a child be provided with the best he can receive to grow up into a well educated man full of the sense of love and care. However, a school of people support the idea that children can be spoiled badly with excessive love. In fact, they are arguing about the way to express love, not the fault of love itself, which brings us a lot of miracles and wonders. By the way, some countries develop the education industry that care so little for children regarding them as clients instead of souls in need of guidance, to be honest, this can do great harm to the young.
To conclude, with so many backing arguments that tell us parents are the best teachers, it is most likely the truth is they, the parents, really are best teachers to their growing children due to the similarity in genes, intimate family life and the powerful love that maintains millions of families.
