I'm a little anxious these days coz I could not decide upon whether to apply for MBA or MACC (master of accounting) I graduated as an accounting major 4 years ago in a 1st tier university in China (1st tier at least for undergraduates in China, but it seems this university is not so favourable overseas.) My past 4 year working experience was within a Big 4 accounting firm in China to a level of Senior 2. My performance evaluation is not bad, though I think I learnt a bit less than I have planned to. I seem to like to be an auditor, though sometimes the work is kinda dull. I've also got the CICPA qualification in China. So I have planned to take a MACC program in US and continue the professional accouting career. A thought hindered my decision is that though I like it, I do not plan to spent my whole life, or even half of my life, in this field. I think my destiny will be in the enterprises. Another pro for the MBA is that I got a low GPA for undergraduate course, 3.0. It will be a big disadvantage in MACC application, but will count a lot less in the MBA application. An anti is that I'm not the agressive type of person, so not sure if I could handle the MBA course and career. BTW, I haven't take the GMAT and TOEFL yet, but will get them cracked by the end of this month, with ... 700+ and 100+, I think. So, could anyone provide some advice? I shall be grateful for it!!!
