2010 Berkeley MBA 最新录取统计资料

3626 applications

11.6% acceptance rate

718 average GMAT

3.63 average GPA

5 median years working experience

31% female

39% international students

Difference:

The differences from last year 2009 in stats are

-Application received is decreased by 10% from last year 2009

-Number of female students is increasing by 5%

-Number of international students is increasing by 8%

My Take:

As I know from other Berkeley Alumni interviewers in Greater China area, most of applicants (around 70%) they interviewed are female and most of them are third round or waitlist applicants.

I can’t say that female applicants in China have more advantages. However, it seems that if the candidates have similar background/experience, admission office tends to invite more international female applicants for interview.
