(OG10#241), obviously, "the preventing/inhibiting...some forms of cancer"不可能和the brewed leaves of Camellia sinensis平衡, 也不可能和reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke平衡.
or vs. and; 嚴格來說preventing和inhibiting在這都是同一個意思, 所以用or.
的只是后面还跟了一个informal..: besides --- 另外在很多地方见过很多次说in addition to与besides没区别,但是又一次见过说他两有区别的,仅作参考(这个区别有点过于subtle): "Besides" is an exclusive term. In the sentence, "Besides chocolate, what flavor of ice cream do you like best?".. the asker wants to know about everything EXCEPT chocolate. "In addition" is when something else is added to the list or discussion. As in, "In addition to your regular chores, I'd like you to clean the bathroom." This means you will do your regular chores AND clean the bathroom as well. *:metimes people use "besides" when they should use "in addition", as in the last example, "Besides your regular chores, please clean the bathroom." But this is not the proper use of this word. |
