小声问一道语法题 A和E如何比较？

For protection from the summer sun, the Mojave lived in open-sided, flat-topped dwellings known as shades, each a roof of poles and arrowweed supported by posts set in a rectangle.


	A.each a roof of poles and arrowweed

	B.each a roof of poles and arrowweed that are being

	C.with each being a roof of poles and arrowweed

	D.with roofs of poles and arrowweed to be

	E.with roofs of poles and arrowweed that are 这个题选A 我选的E，逗号加介词修饰不好吗求With的用法~

with +N +ed/ing with +N+ 介词短语 with+N+adj
with +to do 错
I GUESS如果是E的话THAT很可能就是修饰ARROWWEED（这个事啥意思？），而逻辑上应该是修饰ROOFS才对，因此会有歧义~~~不知道这么理解对不对~~~~

aeeowweed应该是种植物，weed不是草啥的么？！like seaweed。。。。。

prep语法笔记：
1，with 型独立主格,与主句形成紧密的逻辑联系,形式为:
由“with ＋宾语＋宾补”构成的复合结构，在句中可作状语，表示伴随。这一结构中的宾语补足语
可由现在分词、过去分词、形容词、副词或介词短语等来充当
Visitors to the park have often looked into the leafy canopy and seen monkeys sleeping on the
branches, with arms and legs hanging like socks on a clothesline.
2，each 型独立主格,强调句尾名词,形式为:
句子 + 复数名词结尾, each + 介词短语/形容词短语/-ed 形式/-ing 形式。

E选项的that are 很明显多余了。如果是with roofs of poles and arrowweed supported by……正好是“with ＋宾语＋宾补的结果”
B选项的that are being 也同样破坏了each型独立主格的形式。

独立主格一般只有3种形式
1 n + n./分词/形容词/介词
2 with + n + 分词/形容词/介词
3 each + 分词/形容词/介词
三种结构中each结构必须用于句子末尾是复数名词的情况，用于强调句尾名词，而with结构与句子承紧密逻辑关系，n+n结构则与句子承松散关系

这句话的主语是the Mojave ，如果只看骨架的话就是the Mojave ...with roofs of poles and arrowweed that are...明显是不通的。其次，我觉得E的that are是啰嗦的，虽然不是致命错误，但我觉得GMAT有时就是在考那个选项简洁。这是我的一点看法，欢迎指正

each后面必须接单数可数名词，roof是个可数名词，那么前面就应该有个不定冠词，语法结构才完整。
each+roofs就是错的。

基本语法：可数名词单数形式前面一般要有不定冠词或定冠词。
